Frequently Asked Questions

In the odd case that you do not love your Pencil for Change product, here is our policy on returns:

  1. Products that are eligible for return can be returned within 10 days of receiving the merchandise. Eligible products will be easily visible on our product screens under shipping information.
  1. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product with the Bar Code within 48 hoursof receiving your order.
  1. Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are “Final Sale.” Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.
  1. The Pencil for Change Care team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, we will arrange for a return pick up at an agreed upon time.
  1. Once your return has been authorized, we’d be happy to process your refund. You can choose to receive the refund in the form of store credit, which will reflect in your Pencil For change account within 24 working hours from when the product is picked up by our courier partner. However, if you’d like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order, we will initiate the refund after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.
  1. We aim to process all returns within one (1) week. If you have any questions about your return, feel free to reach out to the Pencil for Change Care team at info@pencilforchange.com.

If I fill in the application form to sell online with pncilforchange.com, am I obligated to join?

Not at all; completing the form gives us the opportunity to hear more about your business and to give you the appropriate information about working with us.

 

Do I have to pay an annual membership renewal fee or listing fees?

No

 

Can you review my application without photographs of my products?

No, you will need to provide images of the products you would like to sell, either by giving us a website address where your photographs can be found, this can be a link to an online photo sharing application such as instagram, Facebook.

 

What if I have applied before?

If you have new products or updated photography, please do get back in touch with us. There is no need to fill in the application form again as we will have your details on record.

Delivery Information

How does the delivery process work?

  • Once our system processes your order, your products are inspected thoroughly to ensure they are in a perfect condition.
  • After they pass through the final round of quality check, they are packed and handed over to our trusted delivery partner.
  • Our delivery partners then bring the package to you at the earliest possible. In case, they are unable to reach your provided address or at a suitable time, they will contact you to resolve the issue.

My order has been shipped. Now how can I track it?

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the details of the tracking number and the courier company that is processing your order.
  • You can track the status of your package 24 hours after your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

My order will be shipped in multiple shipments? What does this mean?

Don’t worry! This is a completely normal situation. This just means that different parts of your order may have simply been shipped from our different warehouse locations.
Rest assured, you will only have to pay the shipping/CoD charge if applicable, on the first package you receive.

Does PFC ship worldwide?

Yes, PFC do ship worldwide.

How are items packaged?

We package our products in boxes, which are covered in a plastic layer.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our packaging. Till date, we have received minimal complaints about damaged products due to our packaging

What is the range of locations to which PFC ships their products?

PFC ships throughout India!

What is the estimated delivery time?

We dispatch most orders within 1-4 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays)

  • Though, we keep 95% of our catalogue in our inventory, certain products need to be sourced directly from the brand itself so that we can live up to our promise of providing  products.
  • While we are trying our best to avoid this situation, these products might delay your order.
  • If you are ordering our products from a Mega Sale event, dispatches may be a bit delayed due to increased volumes. We will target to dispatch all orders within 5 days of order date.

Are there any shipping charges applicable on my order?

  • We have standard shipping charges for most addresses.
  • A flat Rs.14$ charge is applied to all orders below Rs.65$, while there is Rs. 26$ applied to all orders above Rs.65$.
